Museum

Today we woke up a little bit tired after the first day with jetlag. Oscar and I decided to go to the Museum of Civilization. To get the most out of the day, we took a taxi to the museum, which is only five minutes away.  In case you did not know, Museum of Civilization is a museum about the history of Canada. We learned a lot of the human history, for example that Canada has been colonized by two countries, both French and the English in the 1500s. This happening made French and English the official’s languages in Canada. However, France ceded nearly all of its colonies to Britain in 1963. Another interesting fact we learned was that Canada became independent in 1931.

When we were done in the museum we noticed a poster on the wall next to the entrance. The poster included all the basic information about the country. We took our time and read through it. The population is around 33 million peoples, which is a lot more than Norway. A thing that is quite same as Norway is the life expectancy which is around 80 years old.
After a learning rich day in Museum of Civilization, we ate the best pizza in the world at Cumberland Pizza. Both Oscar and I were too full to do anything at all, so we just went back to the hotel.
